Thorgan Hazard scored the decisive goal in the 42nd minute from Belgium in Sevilla. His long-range shot at the end of the first half turned into a goal.

Fernando Santos made the team aggressive in the second half. He fielded both Bruno Fernandez and Jaya Felix. However, Portugal could not score despite controlling the ball most of the time.
