Colombia defeated by Peru: Copa America

Peru has revived the possibility of reaching the quarterfinals of the Copa America by defeating Colombia. Peru won 2-1 in the Latin American continent’s biggest tournament in Brazil this morning. Sergio Pena scored for Peru, while Colombia defender Jerry Mina scored an own goal.

For Colombia, Miguel Borya returned a goal from the penalty spot. After the victory, Peru has risen to the third position in Group B. He has 3 points from two games. Brazil, which added six points from the same game, is at the top and has reached the quarterfinals.

Colombia is in second place with 4 points from 3 games. Venezuela has 2 points and Ecuador has 1 point. Venezuela and Ecuador drew 2-2 this morning.
