Argentina beats Ecuador 3-0 in the second and final quarterfinal match of the ongoing Copa America 2021 on Sunday.

Lionel Messi put in a stellar performance in the quarter-finals of the Olympic Pedro Ludovico in Brazil. He contributed to all three goals for Argentina.

In the 40th minute of the first half, Messi provided an assist for Argentina’s first goal. His pass was scored by midfielder Rodrigo de Paul. Then in the 84th minute, Messi provided an assist for Argentina’s second goal. This time his pass was scored by striker Lautaro Martinez.

With just moments left in the game, Argentina added a third goal. This time Messi scored himself. Argentina easily won the game when a free-kick from outside the D-box hit the net of the ‘right top corner’.

With this victory, Argentina has entered the semi-finals of the ongoing Copa America and Ecuador has been eliminated from the competition.
