Corona vaccine for 60 to 64 year old vaccination starts from Tuesday

The Kathmandu Metropolitan City has written to the Ward Vaccination Coordinating Committee to specify the name of the center to conduct vaccination against COVID-19 to be given to 60 to 64 year olds from next Tuesday.

Based on the decision of the Ministry of Health and Population on Jestha 18, a meeting was held between the District Health Office and the Urban Health and Food Regulation Department of KAMPA on Friday and it has been decided to operate one vaccination center in each ward.

Based on this decision, a letter has been sent from the ward to select the vaccination center of the ward.

The first dose of the Verocell 9 Chinese vaccine is being given to people in that age group. Under the vaccination program, the government first vaccinated those at the forefront of pandemic control, then those in the 65-year-old age group, and a third person between the ages of 18 and 59.

About 100,000 people had benefited from the vaccination program run by setting up a center in their respective wards till Jestha 11.
