The Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD) has predicted rain, snowfall amidst thunderstorms in the country in the Tuesday afternoon of 25 May ( Today).

The weather will remain cloudy in the afternoon in many places of the country with chances of light snowfall and rain in the high hilly and mountainous areas of Bagmati and Pradesh no: 1, according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division.

The cyclone called ‘Yaas’ which was created in the low pressure region of the Bay of Bengal is likely to cause rain amidst thunderstorms and snowfall in various parts of the country.

The Meteorological Forecasting Division
has said the ‘Yaas’ cyclone emerged more powerful while surging towards the north-west part of India and affecting the weather system in Nepal until Wednesday.
