Newly appointed Gandaki Minister Rajiv Gurung (Deepak Manange) will get the ministry of physical infrastructure development.

Talking to reporters after taking oath, he said that he would go to the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure, Urban Development and Transport Management.

This ministry is considered very heavy in terms of planning and finances. He said that he had laid the foundation to work in the Ministry of Youth and Sports and would now move towards physical infrastructure.

Even though Ramji Baral of the UCPN (M) is sure to get this ministry, Manange has to be given it. As it is decisive to form and overthrow the Manange government, it is almost certain that he will get the ministry as requested.

Manange was the Youth and Sports Minister in the cabinet led by Prithvi Subba Gurung. “It is not difficult to go to sports and work now,” he said. Now it is time to improve. Manange said that the sports ministry should be given to Congress MP Bhagwat Prakash Malla.

A Congress lawmaker also said that it was certain that Manange would get the ministry of physical infrastructure.

Krishnachandra Nepali Pokhrel has been sworn in as the Chief Minister and Manange has been sworn in as the Minister. His ministry has not been decided yet. At present, all 11 ministries are held by Chief Minister Pokharel himself.
