Prohibition order extended in Banke

The prohibition has been extended for another seven days in Banke district. The prohibition issued in Banke has been extended till May 31. The prohibition order issued on April 26 has been extended till 12 noon on May 24 and now it has been extended till 12 noon on May 31.

A meeting of the District Security Committee chaired by Chief District Officer Shivaram Gelal on Sunday decided to extend the ban till 12 noon on May 31 as there is still a risk of Covid-19 infection in the district. In Nepalgunj sub-metropolitan city, a ban was imposed from 12 noon on April 21.

The meeting also decided that all the security agencies would prepare a joint security plan for the effective implementation of the prohibition.
