Prohibitory order extended till Jestha 20

District Administration Office, Kathmandu has decided to extend the Prohibitory order in Kathmandu valley till Jestha 20 due to the increase in number of Covid cases and deaths. To control and decrease the number of cases there will be more strict rules and regulations. New changes in the Nisedhagya are:

  • The departmental stores, grocery stores will completely be closed for a week.
  • Only shops related to vegetables, fruits, milk, meat, cooking gas will be opened in the morning till 9 AM.
  • Both private and public level construction works will be stopped and the materials related to such works can not be transported.

The total number of cases till today (25 May) has reached to 528,848 and the total recovered cases has reached 404,887 (which is 76.6 %) of the total number of cases.
