Prohibitory order in the Kathmandu Valley extended for another week.

A joint meeting of the chief district officers of the three districts of the Kathmandu Valley on Sunday decided to extend the Prohibitory order for one more week.

During the extended prohibition period, private vehicles will be allowed to operated in odd even system and shops will also be allowed to operate according to the day. The added prohibitory order will be effective till midnight on Ashar 14.

Shops including food, milk and book shops will be allowed to open only till 11 am. Similar construction material shops will be open from 11 am to 6 pm.

On Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday, shops selling gold, silver, utensils, electrical and household goods will be opened and shops selling automobiles and their parts will also be opened.

It has been decided to open shopping malls, sports goods shops, clothes and shoe shops on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Similarly, fancy, cosmetic, gift and tailoring shops will be opened.

Parajuli said that it has been decided to allow the shop to open from 11 am to 4 pm. Food, fruit and vegetable shops will be open till 11 am every day.
