Volcanic eruption in Congo kills 15

At least 15 people have been killed in a volcanic eruption in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Mount Niragogo in the northern Congolese province of Kibu erupted on Saturday night.

At least 15 locals were killed when a volcano erupted on the mountain, officials said.

Authorities in Congo say Mount Niragogo has exploded and is trying to flee the area. While fleeing, nine people were involved in this disaster and two were burnt. Similarly, four persons had tried to escape from the jail.
