According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the vaccine will arrive in Kathmandu by 9 am today. 1.5 million Johnson & Johnson vaccines provided by the United States are coming to Nepal today.

The United States is preparing to hand over the vaccine provided to the Government of Nepal through a formal program today.

This vaccine is given in one dose only. Earlier, 800,000 Verocell vaccines purchased from China have already arrived. The Nepali government is preparing to bring additional eight lakh vaccines from China by next Friday.
