Djokovic wins French Open

Novak Djokovic won his 19th Grand Slam title on Sunday. He defeated Stefanos Sisipas of Greece to win the French Open. Djokovic(34), of Serbia, won the final 6-7, 2-6, 6-3, 6-2, 6-4 after losing the first two sets. Djokovic’s experience was decisive in the final set.

Following this success, Djokovic has moved closer to his two main rivals, Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer, in terms of the number of Grand Slam titles he has won. Nadal and Federer have won the same 20 Grand Slam titles. This time, Djokovic defeated Nadal to reach the final. Sisypus played the first Grand Slam final of his career. Earlier, he had lost three Grand Slam semifinals.
