Warning of fines for removing bottle of beverage during press conference of Euro Cup 2020

The European Football Association (UEFA) has warned that players participating in Euro 2020 will be fined for removing a bottle of beverage during a press conference. Last Monday, Portugal captain Cristiano Ronaldo removed two Coca-Cola bottles from a table during a press conference. He removed the Coca-Cola bottle and showed the water bottle.

On Tuesday, France midfielder Paul Pogba also removed a bottle of beer from the table in front of him. Pogba, who was present at the press conference after being named Player of the Match against Germany, removed a bottle of Heineken beer from the table.

On Wednesday, Manuel Lokatelli of Italy also removed the Coca-Cola bottle and put the water bottle in front of him.
UEFA has warned of fines after players removed the main sponsor’s speech during a press conference. “We want to remind everyone that partnership is an integral part of the competition and that partnership ensures the development of football in Europe,” said the organizer of Euro 2020.
